“Enhancement of Research Culture Among Educators”

RATIONALE
The training write-shop recognizes the need to further enhance the research culture among educators and education professionals and is intended to intensely focus on the research proposal as the roadmap for individual research. It will highlight the connections between intended research trajectories, approaches and designs, likewise the integral components of a research proposal with the aim of producing competently-conceptualized proposals for a short-term research project.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
1. To facilitate knowledge exchange on the field of research,
2. To provide interactive space for resource persons, researchers and research mentors for research conceptualization and proposal development,
3. To train on how to write research proposal.
TRAINING METHODOLOGY
Training write-shop is a six to six day training activity. This will include:
- Lectures
- Open forum
- Write-shop
- Presentation and critiquing of research proposal draft Lectures
TRAINING TOPICS
Topic 1. Conceptualizing across Disciplines based Research (natures, approaches and designs)
Topic 2. Research Proposal Development
Topic 3. Review of Related Literature
Topic 4. Research Methodology (planning, data, analysis, organizing and writing)
